The original core of the structure probably dates back to the medieval period, with parts clearly traceable to the late 1600s. Until the 1950s, the farmhouse was a lively center of rural life, housing up to six households before falling into a period of neglect

The Mystery of the Name: The Finding of the Chest
The name of our Country House was born from a singular event: during renovation, an ancient chest containing old coins was found. This link to the past lives again today in the names of our rooms-such as Lira, Solid, Quattrino, Scudo and Sestertius-that evoke ancient numismatic history.
